12030 Tag Day

The 2010 Tag Day for the New North Bay Hospital will be held on Saturday, September 4th. This is an important, all Councils, event and everyone is encouraged to help. Council 12030 will once again be responsible for the West Ferris area of the city. We have a number of locations that have agreed to let us place members outside their doors, however we will require as many members as possible to ensure that we have enough people to cover all of the areas.

Assistance is not restricted to members only. This is an excellent opportunity for family groups to work together for our common good. We are committed to raising $30,000.00 over the next 5 years for an average of $6,000.00 each year of the term. We will only be able to do that if members come out and lend a hand. If you and/or your family members can take part please call Sir Knight Jim Kaspardlov, the coordinator of this event.

Albanel Monthly Meeting

The September dinner meeting for Albanel Assembly of the 4th Degree will be held on September 9, in Sturgeon Falls. The bus will leave the parking area of St. Peters church at exactly 6 pm.

Annual KofC/Shriner's Golf Tournament

The annual KofC/Shriner's Golf tournament will be held on Friday, September 10th.

Cemetery Sunday

The annual Cemetery Sunday services will be held on Sunday, September 12th., at St. Mary's and Holy Cross Cemeterys. A 45 minute service will be held at St. Mary's beginning at 1 pm. 4th Degree members in full regalia are requested to form up at the cemetery at 12:35 pm. The second service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery at 2:30 pm and will take approximately 15 minutes. Sir Knight Father Ken Gauthier will preside.

12030 Executive Meeting

The September meeting of the 12030 Executive will be held on Thursday, September 16th, in Holy Name Hall at 7 pm.

KofC Celebration Dinner

A KofC Celebration dinner will be held on Saturday, September 18th., at St. Peters church hall. Mass at 5pm, dinner 6:45 pm. Cost $5.00. Guests of honour, His Excellency Bishop Plouffe and Ontario State Deputy Arthur Peters. For tickets contact the Grand Knight or Sir Knight Mike Joly.

The September Calendar Draw will be held on Wednesday, 29 September, 7 pm in Holy Name hall. All are welcome to attend.
